Welcome to 4BUILDAZ! By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our website and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 4BUILDAZ (the “Site” or “Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any additional guidelines or future modifications. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Site. 

We refer to those who seek a service or product as “Client” while all others who provide a service, product are henceforth referred to as “Freelancer”, “Service Provider” or “Seller”.

Our terms cover the contractually binding agreement that is entered by one or more parties to a project (e.g. between Client and Freelancer/Product Seller). Whereas the requirements provided by Client (e.g. design brief or material/product specification) serve as the de-facto “contract document” – these can be in the form of information typed into the appropriate textbox and/or supported by uploaded documents, e.g. photos, PDF files, etc. By providing these requirements, the Freelancer, Seller or Service Provider has by default accepted to carry out the tasks (or deliver the products/services) contained therein, when accepting the job order. All disputes and possible renegotiations will use the “contract document” as a point of reference. 

These terms and contractual conditions described above are aimed at facilitating remote/online based transactions and do not override the legally binding conditions of contract, duty of care and professional responsibilities that construction industry stakeholders are subjected to under the relevant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 

2. Services

4BUILDAZ is a platform that connects clients with service providers across various industries, including construction, design, equipment renting, and transportation services. The services offered by 4BUILDAZ include facilitating communication, protection of funds during transactions, and service agreements between clients and freelancers or service providers. 4BUILDAZ will necessarily provide mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services when the need arises, especially when site visits are necessary. The cost of the ADR and visits may be borne by the party that is found to be in breach of the agreement/contract. The cost of ADR and site visits may also be split between two parties based on the judgement of the experts sent to arbitrate or mediate on the dispute.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of 4BUILDAZ, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering and using our platform. Such information may require (but not limited to): Certificate of Professional or Trade Registration; Certificate of Business Incorporation by CAC (Nigeria); Business Address; Mobile, Email and other Contact Details – including Social Media handles; Photographs of Individuals/Staff who register or use the platform; Photographs of Business, Shop or Site premises; etc.
  • Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of your professional discipline, trade or regulatory body, as well as with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • Not engage in fraudulent or unethical behaviour, including providing false information or misrepresenting yourself.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purposes.
  • To conduct your business in a transparent, honest, polite and civil manner. We have zero tolerance for online, verbal or physical abuse, including libel, slander, online trolling, fake (inaccurate reviews) and other forms of unethical practices.
  • To report suspected cases of fraud, deception and unethical behaviour to the 4BUILDAZ representatives (team@4buildaz.com).

4. Registration and Account Security

To use certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account details, including your login details such as username and password or PIN.
  • Immediately notify us if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Payment Terms

  • For Clients: Clients are responsible for paying the agreed-upon fees for services rendered by service providers on the Platform.
  • For Freelancers and Service Providers: Freelancers and Service providers are responsible for paying any subscription or service fees required for accessing the platform, if applicable.
  • Payment terms, including billing cycles, cancellation, and refund policies, will be detailed in the specific service agreements made between users.
